Back Bar has a wide selection of music available with a good range of chill-out, lounge, jazz, funk or house. During the week Back Bar has a relaxed ambience with chill-out and lounge tunes setting the vibe. On weekends the music changes with the mood of the crowd, from chill-out and lounge to funk and house as they begin to unwind after the working week.
Should you choose to hire the venue privately you are welcome to bring your own music along to play whilst the space remains private. Our facilities will allow connection of your iPod or to play CD’s. You might also like to arrange for a DJ to play with a complete set of DJ equipment being available upon request. You can arrange for your own DJ to play or Back Bar can put you in contact with some of our regular favourite DJ’s.
A $300 security bond is payable when using Back Bar’s DJ equipment. This is refunded after the function providing the equipment is not damaged and is left in good working order.
