The Backlist works on a point system whereby for every dollar you spend you will earn 1 point. These points convert to Back Bar dollars which can then be redeemed on purchases at Back Bar. The redemption rate of points to dollars is dependent upon your tier of membership as detailed in the Rewards Summary Table below.
The Backlist has 3 tiers of membership, Red, Silver and Gold with the level of reward increasing with each higher tier. Your membership tier is determined by your level of spend within a membership year which commences on the 1st of January each year. Memberships are reviewed for upgrade on a monthly basis so as soon as you have reached the required level of spend for the next membership tier you will automatically be upgraded and will immediately begin to redeem a higher level of reward. Members who have not reached the required spend at the end of the year will be regraded to the appropriate membership level.
Silver and Gold members who provide birthday details with their membership will also be invited to enjoy a birthday drink on us. An email will be sent at the start of the month inviting you to redeem this offer during your birthday month. Silver members may choose any drink on our menu valued up to $15 whilst Gold members can choose any drink valued at up to $20.
Members will also receive a $30 gift card when they refer a private function booking. To redeem this offer the referral must result in a confirmed booking and the referring Backlist member’s details must be provided at the time the booking was made.
From time to time members will also have the ability to earn additional points through special promotions including bonus reward days. Also as reward for progressing to the next membership tier, any accumulated points a member has at the time of the upgrade can then be redeemed at the new higher level of reward.
